Univision Los Angeles and the Women’s Leadership Council in LA hosted a two-week suit drive to benefit Homeboy Industries, an organization that is helping young men and women re-enter society and fulfill their motto of "Jobs Not Jails." The campaign collected 1,090 garments and accessories for men and women. These items will provide Homeboy Industries’ trainees with the proper attire for interviews, school enrollment and social occasions. Homeboy Industries serves high-risk, formerly gang-involved men and women with a continuum of free services and programs. It also operates seven social enterprises that serve as job-training sites.
