Raycomís Fox affiliate WVUE New Orleans raised $1.2 million in ticket sales for its St. Jude Dream Home giveaway. The campaign launched in March with a phone bank held during the morning newscast. WVUE continued to air regular news stories about St. Jude Hospital, along with PSAs they produced to encourage ticket sales through June. On June 29, WVUE held a drawing to pick the winner and hosted a telethon. WVUE has been named the St. Jude Television Station of the Year.
